The cover of the first Evens record is a photo of a chained zoo elephant. Drawing this poster, I liked the idea that maybe all the animals staged a mutiny, broke out, and went to see the Evens. Inspiration also provided by a 'Rhymes With Orange" comic, from the perspective of two giraffes expressing their frustrations thusly: "One day, I'm gonna break out of this ooz."
