Cover of the Tucker-Boatwright Festival booklet. The focus of the festival was on the relationship between "popular" fiction and "literary" fiction. Speakers addressed graphic novels, mystery, fantasy, horror, science fiction and more. The artwork sourced characters from the speakers' work, and aesthetically drew from the genres discussed. The piece mailed in a mylar bag, as a nod to the comics and graphic novels it is based on.
The opening spread. Each spread uses a campus location as the backdrop for imagined scenes related to the speakers work.
The booklet is created using a folded and cut paper technique. When unfolded, it reveals a poster on the inside of the booklet.
